Come here to talk about Nosferatu and related stuff.

I used to have 5 pages blocking out some ideas I had for a singleplayer game, but I quickly abandoned them, because I realised, that I can't do any of the stuff I wanted to have without a programmer.

If you find a decent programmer with enough time, I definitely would like to start a new project. With some managing and frequent milestones. Just like the big boys who get paid for it..

/edit: Does anybody know who is stil paying for this site?

Its hosted at a private server, its just the domain that needs to be paid..

It expires at January 22 2009 So that leaves us with about three months of communicating left :)

I can ask around. I know some programmers who have dabbled in video games. I know one person whom I started a short lived HL2 mod with. I can ask but no guaranties that they will even want to help out given this games previous track record. :(

I have some experience with Q3 GTK1.4 mapping, the HL2 Hammer editor, and the Far Cry sandbox.

To be honest, I'd say we should abandon Nos. It's a lot of work that was for nothing, but it's the most reasonable thing to do.
Getting the engine up to date is almost impossible and the gameplay isn't really the most exciting as well anymore. I'd say we start with something new, if we start anything at all..

I think it's settled then. We should do another game :P! I don't like putting my MSN at public places, so I guess I'll just PM it to you all.

Alright. Think I'll get an ICQ too just for the sake of this project. I'll also ask Icaros if he wants to be in the poject.

Whoa, calm down a bit. I didn't even talk to Frog yet. :)

Just making sure that all of us are on the same page. A prject like this is something that needs years to finish. Months to have something playable at least. We all should be very sure if we have the time to start something like a new project. I certainly don't have much spare time for the next 3 weeks thanks to a crunchtime at work, but would join in and try to start to work on something on the weekends.

But before I put any effort into something, I would like to know a few things.

Programmer? Animator? Leveldesigner?
Engine, Storyline, Core Values?

Basically, who's on your team and what game do you wanna make?

Noooooooo! I WON'T CALM DOWN!

But anyway, this will of course take time to make... And to be honest, I'll have alot of work to do this spring. But, the nearest months I presume will be spent on making concepts and gathering a team. After that I'll have a lot of time to use.

For starters, I suggest that we should have a live chat meeting with all here interested in joining the new team sometime soon to decide what kind of project were going to start.

And meanwhile I'll see if I can find a programmer somewhere.

BTW: Added Insulaner and Frog 4 U on ICQ.

If something fires up and a new community with the NOS people forms hit me up with the address, my email's same as the MSN in my profile.
