Hmm calm down people... Somewhere modders have to start and to learn...
Imagine 15/16 year old guys thinking about doing a mod but don't have the knowledge to make 'uber'-models/skins, but maybe 2 years later they will have the knowledge to make a good looking mod...

So don't be to hard with such projects...

German teams always do awsome games. Look at Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory by splash damage for example. I'm almost dead certian that their german and ET is just plain awsome.

Now as far as Boiling Blood gose for a Source mod it looks pretty weak. The models they have could run on HL1 so easy. If they improve their models some and work really hard on it, it might be an awsome mod. But it wont ever compare to Nosferatu.

Sure i read the (at least for now) thing, but saying 'you're sucking right at the moment' or such thing isn't very nice either...
But i don't wanted to blame you or such a thing, but to point out that a lot of teams started with only stick-figures ;)

Hmm ok ok i take this 16 - 15 year old back ;) Should only show that they are unexperienced, and while im thinking that the majority of 15/16 years old guys are not that good at modelling/skinning and so on, i took them for example. But yeah i know there are people in this age that have brilliant ideas and a lot of skill in modding :)

Hmm german mods may look better then american because you never notice bad german mods ?
I mean out there are surely more american mod teams and i think a few of them get a bit of attentinion, while also good 'german' mod teams get none... But i think the term 'german' mod team don't fits, nearly all mods i know consists of people of different nationality...

don´t think making mods has anything to do with nationality or whatever. Furthermore we r a very mixed team, almost everyone comes from another country and we r between 16 and 21 (think so).
Think the reason why mod-teams contain mostly young people is that mostly young people r interessted in pc-games and furthermore that older ones don´t have the time to play or develope a game.

At least it looks better then Half-Life: Vampire Slayer.

International modders (out side USA) in general tend to some what more creative then US modders. Have you seen all the CS clones!?

I really don't think so... There are also a big amount of 'american' mod-teams wich got brilliant ideas...
Annd as said, there are only a few teams that only consists of people from one country...
