MP5 Variants?

Postby .neo.styles on Mon May 22, 2006 9:44 pm

Anyone like the idea?

Personally, I like the MP5K better than the MP5SD.

HK MP5 K is much more compact than the MP5SD.

What's important is that it can actually be dual wielded as shows in the matrix.

the only problem with dual wielding is it becomes impossible to control. But is it fun? hellz yeah!!1

the MP5K is a nice weapon. IMO, a smaller weapon would allow you to carry more ammo.

Dual wielding in matrix.... I think that wasn't really close to realitiy, 2 MP5 are to hard to handle.. You need muuuuch time to reload a MP5 if you got a weapon in your other hand too. So this wouldn't be very clever if you're only able to take 2 weapons with you.

Recol is never too realistic because it would negativvely mpact the gameplay (not tio mention the fun factor.)

There are limits. I mean, I think that dual wielding P90s is defenitely going o far.

I wish Ghostface would put thP90 back in...

Hmm... "put the P90 back in" petiition, anyone?

I can defenitely see dual wielding MP5Ks in-game.

BTW, does "vier" really sound like "fear."

Get over it, they've made their decision on the weapons.

Uhm, I don't see why they can't add any more weapons..? They have all the time in the world.

Besides, dual wielding MPks would be very cool.

if you're talking about the lobby scene in the original, those were Vz.61 "skorpions" that Neo was wielding.

Nope, you got the order mixed up. Those were MP5ks.

Here is the proof :
HK MP5K These guns appear all over this flick. “What do you need?” “Guns. Lots of guns.” The huge weapon racks slide in and Neo picks up an MP5K and does the classic “HK Slap”. Then in the lobby scene, when the guard sees all the guns and says “Holy…” and Neo punches him into next week, he then pulls out a pair of MP5K’s and goes to work. HK came up with a brilliant design in the MP5. It’s universally recognized as The SMG. It’s used around the world by police and military units… and those that fight them. The Matrix seems to prefer the short MP5K variant, but any of them are fine guns.

Have you ever fired one yourself? =/
On what basis do you like MP5K more than the other one..?

Nope, but I'v seen real life videos of nearly every popular game weapon being fired. It has NO perceptable recoil.

It's small (it doesn't block much of your view) but has alot of punch and, because of it's size, it also can be dual wielded.

Can you possibly imagine someone dual wielding MP5SDs? Niether can I. The sheer size and bulk of the weapon makes it impossible.

I think having dual MP5Ks would be a tremendous amount of fun.

In fact, that's the only weapon that I want added now.
