:(

Irwin, 44, died this morning after being fatally injured while filming a nature documentary off Queensland.

The news has shocked the nation and prompted a rush of tributes from politicians and the public alike.

Sigh, true Australian hero. :( Probably better known internationally as 'The Crocodile Hunter'.

doch warst du niemals wirklich da.
Dacht ich hätte dich verstanden,

Didn't he star in a film about 1 year ago?

/e: Crocodile Dundee != Crocodile Hunter.
Saddest part of the whole tragedy is the two kids he leaves behind.

Everyone's luck runs out eventually. But he probably knew what he was dealing with and the risks involved.

Everyone knew it would happen, it was simply a matter of time.

Sad, very sad.

Crikey!

Sorry but I think that spending that much time around animals that can kill you is just dumb. It's like bungee jumping. It's an unnesesary risk.

Edit : He died while swimming with poisons jelly fish?

OMG, I left my wallet in this crime-infested neighborhood for 4 hours and it's gone!

He had it comming.
