A simple physics would be nice. Nothing spectacular but shooting away obstacles and certain things in the the environment always adds to the atmosphere. It would also help the death animations look more natural instead of the scripted ones.

did we say we don´t want physics???
ok, lets start a vote:

1. Have Physics in first beta and wait till 2008
2. Include Physics later

hu?

ah... ragdolls require a physics engine. What Alucard is saying about death animation is like what is found in Quake3. The player model does a death animation then it just sits there until it disappears (no ragdoll)
