UMG, I'm beginning to believe you're responsible for the death of the Rabbit.

Shame... I liked that Rabbit.

Okay, no polite answer, just the truth.

It looks bad.... The weapon looks angularly... So maybe a Lego Soldier would wield such a thing, but no one else.

A few 'tips' how you could improve the look.
I think nearly no weapon got hard/sharp edges.
Stocks are there, so that you can press it against your shoulder. So remodell it and think on some shape, that would be 'comfortable' to press against your shoulder, and wich wouldn't hurt like hell...
Is it a some LaserWeapon with interior ammunition? Because i dont see some magazine. For a Laser weapon i would cut the barrel wich is coming out.
Make the Pistol Grip more round... If it's round, the pictures don't show it.
Make the bottom of the front shaft also round.

Make the 'adjustable' part of the stock a smaller. So i mean, that it as broad as the stock itself. Also to make the pistol grip smaller (can't really judge from the pic if it's done allready). And then making some holding part on the front shaft (so make it smaller) would also be an idea...

I think the scope should be a bit more back. I onlsy shoot air-guns but, there my cheek was onto the some part of the stock.
Also i would think about making the front part of it a bit wider an making the ascent of it a bit longer. And also do it a bit on the back...

----
Look at pictures. I mean you're a fan of weapons. So it shouldn't be a problem to get something you could get the idea of how something should look.

http://www.burgis-welt.at/Bilder/LG100i.jpg <- look at the shaft, it has an extra part for you cheek, and look how near the scope is to it. And also how the scope is shaped.

http://www.germanft.com/images/jpg/PT3.jpg <- or here another nice air-gun.

http://www.carl-walther.de/deutsch/aktu ... hr05.shtml <- here you should get an idea how some weapons are hold...
-----

So it's fine that you start learning how to model, but you really shouldn't push your luck, and thing that we are allways polite on this topic..

And if you get something not the first time, try try and try again.
A german poem (part) by myself

Ich dacht’ ich war dir nah,
doch warst du niemals wirklich da.
Dacht ich hätte dich verstanden,
doch hat dieses Verstehen nie bestanden. [...]

Try modelling a real weapon instead, that way you have something to aim for

erm, yeah.. as said above the weapons r way not good enough modeling-wise acording to our quality-aim.. so practice, practice.. and even if you were good enough to model weapons like the nos-ones, we r not planning to add more, yet.
What you could try is to model map-objects (like these).. but be warned: if you don´t skin them yourself, they will be uselessly cause noone has time or motivatin to skin models like these from other persons.. esspecialy when they even have no uv-map.

Kudos, Crix, that package your using looks to make calcus look like drinking a beer. :D

A lot of programs seem to have the "create" polygon option which allows you to model really complex things very easily. In wings, you have to do everything "manually."

UMGs Challange
Pick up Wings3D and try modeling some guns.

Notice how you aren't as good?

Please explain why in a 5 paragraph essay.

I think I'll go for a pistol now.

No crap it does!

You're comparing it to something seen in Counter Strike : Source or FEAR, huh?

Well, let me share a little secret : VALVE has better modelers than me!

Hahah, if I was a Mod DB modeler, I would probably tell you that since, you aren't the best modeler in the world, you don't have the right to critisize mah modelz..

But yeah, anyhow, that was done in half an hour.

I think I'll go model a pistol now..
