Now that's good news. I can't wait to test it, as soon as it's done. Ghostface mentioned something about "soon", so I hope, it'll be....2 days, or something. See you on the Beta-servers!!!

his post says that it's a board internal beta, which to me suggests that the testers will be us faithful community members.

2 months sounds realistic with internal testing and stuff.
I am going to take a vacation from my job for a week or two pretty soon once we got the current projects done, so it will most likely be released shortly after my vacation

Just to make sure, you guys don't think, I'm a total moron:
The "2 days thing" was a joke!! ;D
I don't care, when the Beta is finished, as long as it's playable and as long as we can enjoy the testing! Take your time and make the Beta as good as possible...

god, I'm quite drunk...

It works under wine with the win32 binaries as well as with native linux binaries. I use the native linux binaries myself tho

Hi,

It's cool to have some news from you Ghostface. I'm very impatient to test Nosferatu.

Ghostface wrote:I always wanted to release an awesome first release with 10000 of cool features and whatnot delaying the release endlessly.

Anyway, here's the new development plan:

First of all we are going to release a board internal beta, which will feature the important parts and gameplay elements.
Everyone will be able to participate and test it, giving feedback on what sucks and whats cool. We can balance everything out and test stuff.

Lots of (auto)updates with short development cycles will then be released and tested by you. You should then give us feedback about what needs improvement, what's good etc.

I'm happy to read that ;) welcome to "agile" development cycle !

Ghostface wrote:Stay tuned

Of course !
