*laughs* erm yes the "*G*" thing is an emote for smiling... i use it very often, even while i don't know why exactly. I think it's a bad habbit i get when i was starting visiting chat rooms...
Yay, i'm a damn freak ;)
So i often use this to underline some of my 'funny'/'silly' ideas/sentences/whatever ...

When will we be seeing them in an ingame screen? (other than a photoshoped one)

Soon

don wrote:Slayers also often got this kind of thrilling and shocking visions, while they are hunting. I was considering this intense range, when I was making those 2 wallpapers and esp. the black and white one gave me that hint. Now the question: Are you, the talented artists and programmers, able or are you concerning of adding a feature, which could be called "shock visions"? If you run around or if you are watching a vampire for quite a quile then your screen could turn black and white, or you get a blured vision or something like that, for a very short moment. You could also look at aesthetic looking vampires and suddenly see their skeleton etc. (for about a second or two). Real beauties could turn into grisly monsters or anything in that direction. This should not weaken the strength of slayers gameplaywise, but it would give you a real goose-flesh, while you are playing the game. Intense and amazing effects apart from fancy dying-fx's, weather or cool animations would be awesome!

Theres a TrueScare^tm system planned in order to scare the players. I will soon give more detailed informations away on it :)

Btw *g* -> *grin* -> ** <- emote :D

If I remember right, then it all started with *g* (yeah, forget it what they tell you about the big bang or jesus, *g* was the source!), which was standing for "grin", then it was beaten by *gg* which represented "gi'gg'ling" and since that was not enough *lol* came into play (laughing out loud), *rofl* outperformed all those above and since pc geeks were looking for another shortcut that was not that overused and would bowl over everything that was ever put together: PMSL (pissing my'self laughing) was born - and all this just happened between 1998 and 2006 just because "haha, hehe, hihi, hoho, huhu, ; ) ;P ;D =) 8 ) etc. were not enough. The funny thing is, that terms like noob, nup, nap or however people write them to sound bad-ass, never really pissed me off, because I have no idea what it originally meant or where it was coming from. That sounds pretty stupid to be serious. It is obviouse that a "newbie" is someone that is new to a game for instance and that a "noob" is someone that plays or practices something for a long period of time and still acts like a newbie, but what in the heck is the concrete definition for it?

[/snag-dict-end]

^^ I am pretty cocked about your shock system thingy, damn!
Kick the bucket, Bloodsuckers.

I'd just like to point out that it's quite possible, my older brother's computer runs HL2 on maximum graphics, with FPS as smooth as it gets, even with extreme action going on.

I can't even run Enemy Territory on full without having some noticable lag...

A really state of the art one... If we went 5-6 years back...

Pentium 3 866 MHz , 256 RAM, and probably the only somewhat decent thing is my 64MB GeForce 4.
