That skeleton model looks SEXY

Postby Azrael.Necrios on Thu Oct 12, 2006 4:44 pm

That skeleton model looks ultra sexy :D
You should give it a name, perhaps Mr. Bones, or Bonedaddy
:)
and those in-game screenies looks absolutely AMAZING.
I am so glad this mod is not dead.

btw, is there any chance that we will see a Buffy the Vampire Slayer-type char. is this mod? Or are you guys striving for mostly original characters? Although I think that may be hard, considering priests and Buffy seems like the archtypes for Slayer characters.

In one of the SS a beer can is sticking out of either side of thug's foot. thug looks very Quake 3... Very very Quake 3, and I mean in terms of quality. I guess thats what you get if you use that engine.

I'd like to beta this that'd be fun.

Nosferatu isn't using the Quake 3 engine. Its using QFusion which is based on Quake 2.

How does it look Quake3 ? I am just curious. Quake3 doesn't have the detail, nor the normalmaps or the theme of the thug model in common :?:

It's the Distortion of the model. The way the skin wraps it. In game the models look diffrnet then the renders. in other words he looks like he was generated by the quake engine. As apposed to looking like he was generated by the Modified Quake Engine that powers half life, or like the Unreal Engine.

the renders look better because its 3ds Max, it takes a couple secounds to render one frame. which is fine for prerecorded movies or image, but how does 0.5 FPS sound ingame? :P
I personaly don't think he looks like he's from quake 3.

Howdy!

The first ingame character, nice...! Hopefully he will be moving like a human beeing (cough animations) - just kidding! :)

One question: Will the game be serious themed or will we also see subtle irony or in other words: will fun play a role in the game or will it just be damn malicious and gross? I am wondering since I have never read anything about that, if I remember right!

Anyways, great work, nice model and I hope that the don model isn't casted off. Would be funny to see him in action :P

GreetZ,

Hehe, fine! I have just invented a great background-story for one special character. If you are in need of ideas... I am right here xD
