Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines

Well a vampire game without vampire section ? Can't be, so everything (non game related) vampire goes here.

I saw some videos of it; it looks pretty good..
Is it really worth buying? I'm pretty poor right now, hmm.. Not sure..

It's worth it, especially if you like vampires, and you must if you're working on this game. :D

it looks quiet nice, but I dont like the direction they are going.
Its all futuristic with wristblades and implants for slayers/vampires, as well as guns for vampires. Also the Slayers are a Special trained team etc.

It might look similar at first but its pretty different.

We would like to stay true to the more classic Vampire style.

I dont want to put other mods/games down but its basicly team fortress with increased jumping height.

It was done in a very short time and for that it is quiet good, but nothing that I would except from a vampire mod.

other mods

you have to remember this is a total conversion.. and nosferatu is being basically built from the ground up.. in order to make the engine perfect for the game.. as far as the mods out there.. yea they might look good but our ideas and gameplay seems like it will be a lot better than like bloodlines.. they kind of also have an advantage to come out with something first.. because its not like they have to do any engine work to hl2. yea. so i dunno.. halflife 2 is nice for outdoor maps.. vs. quake 3 mapping.. for outside environments.. but! luckily we have a awesome team..

I agree with Ghostface that Bloodthirst is going the wrong way, they have included so many wacky things that shouldn't even be in the mod.

The Underworld mod never appealed to me, even tho the movie did.
Neil Manke deserves props for those maps tho. I'm looking forward
to see what XiZoR manages to get out of the HL2 engine with bloodthirst.

But back to the topic. For some reason the game (vampire: bloodlines)
chops heavily on my computer, especially in the core city areas. Which
is a bit strange as I run HL2 just fine. I completed the game first time
with Ventrue (domination makes the game easy.. ^_^ ). Had to install
the patch when I encountered a bug in the leopold mission (as so
many others did as I found out in their forums.) Started again with
Malkavian this time (love the twisted chat they got), unfortunably I've
encountered a bug (again) which I don't know how to fix. I know what
to do, but the npc that's supposed to send me forward, doesn't. :P ah well.

yeah bloodline is chopy and buggy as hell.

Underworld the movie was pretty cool but the mod was kinda well.. TFC with vampires nothing more. The maps were nice tho.
